Richard MacVicar 'MAC' who ran the Deptford Adventure Playground in Prince Street until his retirement in the summer of 2012, died this morning. His brother and sister were with him at the end. The world has lost a good guy. RIP Mac.

ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear this. I used to see Mac in Lewisham and say hello, and as a youngster I used to frequent the adventure all the time. What a loss of a local legend.
ReplyDeleteA sad loss to Deptford and all of us who care for the place. Mac was a fixture and will leave an awful empty space. A kind, funny, lovely man who will be much missed.
