Hide and Seek (1972)
This 1972 Children's Film Foundation production was shot on location in Deptford, at the time of mass demolitions. For example, Giffin Street is the Midland Bank and little else.
The cast includes, amongst others, Gary Kemp, Robin Askwith, Roy Dotrice, Liz Fraser, Alan Lake and Alfred Marks.

DeleteFred & Dave Aylward showed this film at Utrophia in December last year as part of the Deptford Soil exhibition. It's a truly charming film, and yes, shows a lot of demolished Deptford streets! At the time of watching I was reminded of what this place used to look like in the late 70s (still ruined and flattened)...
